Keynesian Economics Fundamentally Doomed To Failure

The American Government's perpetuation of the myth that is Keynesian economics

So whose fault is it exactly?  Hollywood?  Lack of religion?  Lack of self esteem?  Poor parenting?  The entertainment industry?  The NRA?  The media?  The voters themselves?  Just who is to blame for the American Government's contemptible behavior?  Countless professionals (and some not-so-professionals) have speculated and mulled, publicly and privately, over what has caused those on Capital Hill to destroy our moral fiber.  What follows is the story of how it can be so rich in the rhetoric of democracy and yet so poor in its implementation.

It has been revealed that the American Government plans to exploit the feelings of self-remorse and guilt that many people have over the plight of the homeless, while simultaneously playing off of class-envy to gain voter approval for raising taxes and running up debt with earmarks and Wall Street bailouts.  First reaction yields that it wallows in its basest behavior.  A little more thought leads to the more accurate conclusion that the American Government pompously claims that it has mystical powers of divination and prophecy.  That sort of nonsense impresses many people, unfortunately.

Many the things I've talked about in this letter are obvious. We all know they're true. But still it's necessary for us to say them, because the American Government's ignorant attempts to debunk myths often lead to the perpetuation of them, such as is the case with Keynesian economics.  It has been proven several times over that socialism, Keynesian economics or whatever else you call it is a foolish economic philosophy that is fundamentally doomed to fail each and every time it is tried regadless of circumstance or location.

Fortunately, it the mass-brainwashing and dumbing-down of the population has failed to impress upon everyone.   I saw an odd news item that caught my attention recently.  Immediately following Rush Limbaugh's Churchillian speech as CPAC, there was a rush (no pun intended) on domain name registrations containing Limbaugh's name, many with refrences to the 2012 presidential election.  This tells me that not everyone has stopped thinking for themselves, and that it might not be too late to reverse the tide.

The Obama administration seeks to continue to circulate the myth that government spending can be a direct precursor to economic recovery.  This is a lie and it will always be a lie.  One cannot borrow one's way out of debt, not spend to achieve economic recovery.  But don't tell that to Congress.  As Churchill once said, "never hold a conversation with the monkey when the organ grinder is in the room."
