On Climate Change (formerly known as Global Warming)

This whole "climate change" phenomena is an elaborate scam by "insiders" like Al Gore who invested heavily clean-energy at a time when the market wouldn't support it, so they use their clout in the media and in politics to establish a public discourse based on deeply flawed premises for the purpose of tricking people into voting for people who collude with the likes of Al Gore and ultimately make working taxpayers pay for his (Gore's) bad investments.

This "movement" even finagled the state of California to pass legislation regulating carbon dioxide emissions. If that seems like a reasonable or unspectacular measure to be taken on mother earth's behalf, consider for a moment the fact that carbon dioxide (CO2) is not a pollutant and is absolutely necessary and is vital to all plant-life on earth. The sad truth is that the "greenest" thing anyone can really do is water a plant every now and then and continue breathing (which emits CO2) and keep on driving the SUV.

For what it's worth, carbon monoxide (CO) is a deadly pollutant. It is quite possible that this was the particular molecular compound that California lawmakers mistook CO2 for being when they enacted the emissions regulations. That is if you decide to give the California politicians the benefit of the doubt and attribute the emissions laws to ignorance as opposed to corruption. In the hypothetical latter scenario, they play dumb about it because nobody they're willing to talk to will actually call them out on it.

That is the reality of this issue. When you read about federal low-interest loans, grants, congressional earmarks and tax benefits available to so-called "clean energy" companies, understand that that is merely the bureaucratic gibberish for "you are working hard so Al Gore can fly around on private jets (when he's not snowed out) preaching the end of the world and urging everyone else to repent, while simultaneously picking the pockets of those he purports to be trying to save.

The bottom line is that like any other fad, this one is profit-driven. This corrupt group is determined to get taxpayers to finance their bad investments come Hell or high water. This is a scam not unlike any other, and it is being driven by the same factors (profit, greed) as any other major scam. However unlike most scams, the general public seems hostile to the mere suggestion that their beloved government may from time to time --- GASP --- lie to them!

Tis a sad state of affairs we're in. A sad state of affairs...
